A teenage boy was shot and killed in downtown Tacoma early on Sunday morning, police told KING5.
Officers were called to reports of gunfire in the 1100 block of Commerce Street at about 2.23am. When they arrived, they found the boy suffering from life threatening gunshot wounds.
Officers began lifesaving measures before Tacoma Fire Department personnel reached the scene. The teenager was pronounced dead there.
A police spokesperson said the victim was at least a teenager, and his identity has not been released.
No suspects have been identified, according to police. Detectives and crime scene technicians are investigating the shooting as a homicide.
