New Orleans police are investigating a shooting in New Orleans East that left a man hospitalized early on Sunday morning.
Officers were called shortly after 3:30 a.m. to the area near Papania Drive and Chef Menteur Highway, where they found a man who had been shot in the leg, the New Orleans Police Department said.
The man was taken to a hospital for treatment. Police have not released information about his condition, and they have not identified a suspect in the shooting.
