Two people are dead and three others were hurt after a shooting at a gas station in Baltimore on Sunday night, police said.
Baltimore Police Commissioner Richard Worley said officers were sent to the 2800 block of Edmondson Avenue around 10:25 p.m. Sunday Oct 18 after a ShotSpotter gunfire alert. A WBAL-TV 11 News crew at the scene reported the victims were in the parking lot of a BP gas station.
Officers found a woman and three men shot at the scene, Worley said. A fifth man arrived at a hospital on his own with gunshot wounds.
A man and a woman later died of their injuries. The three other victims are believed to have suffered injuries that are not life threatening.
Worley said investigators believe at least two shooters, possibly three, were involved and that a high-powered weapon was used. No suspects are in custody. Detectives are looking for video from the area and the investigation is ongoing.
Anyone with information is asked to call 911 or Metro Crime Stoppers at 866-7LOCKUP.
