A 22-year-old woman was shot and killed on Saturday night in the Little Village neighborhood on Chicago’s Southwest Side, police said.
The shooting happened at about 8:43 p.m. in the 2800-block of W. 23rd Street, according to Chicago police. The woman was outside when she heard a loud noise and then felt pain. She had been shot in the right armpit.
She was rushed to Mt. Sinai Hospital, where she later died.
